One Planet, One Humanity
Understanding is a vital goal
The problems of our nation can be solved by rational use of established techniques, not by slavish adherence to the religion of capitalism nor by short-sighted application of libertarian philosophy.
Peace is possible. We should strive to attain it while working to solve the other problems of the planet, the people, and the nation.
We’ve been taught that people are inherently bad. It’s just not true. All the people who are enlightened and those who practice Judeo-Christian neighborly love are counter-examples.
There are three ways to solve problems: competition, cooperation, and a combination of the two.
Competition must always be regulated.
- in the nation, through the Constitution
- in capitalism, through taxes, labor unions, arbitration, monetary policy, and anti-trust laws.
- in sports, through rules
- in society, through laws
- in international relations, through treaties and organizations like the UN and NATO.
