GOP tax bill would cost poor Americans $1,600 a year and boost highest earners by $12,000, CBO says

That’s obscene. Much worse than the trickle-down that we’ve endured for 43 years.

Before trickle-down

• The national debt to GDP ratio was low and falling.
• The middle class was thriving and the American Dream was alive.
• The nation did great things.

Now

• The distribution of wealth is outrageous.
• The government continually runs huge deficits.
• The national debt is high and on an unsustainable trajectory.
• The American Dream is all but impossible.
• US government and IMF reports showing that trickle down raises debt far more than it recovers from increased GDP and that giving money to the poor is more effective for growing GDP.

We the people can end trickle-down. 

We need to

• explain the problem to everyone so they reject Trump’s propaganda
• ask our Congress members, by the millions to fix the problem. 

If they don’t act, we can make sure their replacements will.

Messages for Congress:

• Remove Trump from office.
• Restore the pre-Reagan, highly progressive tax structure.
• Enforce the 20th century protections for working class wealth and small businesses.

After trickle-down ends, the government will be able to

• end deficit spending.
• buy down the debt.
• improve benefits for the people.
• fight climate change, create millions of good jobs, grow the GDP, and improve world trade.
