Situation
We are the richest country in the world.
Why is health care such a problem and higher education so expensive?
In happier countries those are considered basic human rights.
We can afford world class benefits.
We don’t have them because we have an obscene distribution of wealth, like that of China, Russia, India, and Turkey, far worse than our European peers .
Solution
- End trickle down – going back to pre-Reagan income tax rates – would allow a huge amount of wealth to be freed up. Enough to:
- pay the budget
- undo Trump’s damage (as much as possible)
- buy down the national debt
- establish universal health care
- pay for free higher education
- Fix Citizens United – getting large individual donations and corporate money out of political campaigns would make high government positions far more accessible to patriots who would again make our nation of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Plan
- Everybody forwards this email to their whole contact list.
- Within a couple of days, we the people – including everyone in the major media and in the government – will understand the situation and the solution.
- The “No Kings” rally will be historically huge, many, many millions – A sea of signs with one message: no more kings, no more trickle-down, no more rule by money.
- Trickle-down alone is enough of a crime to remove Trump from office.
- Congress is divided and has a lot of good people. Maybe when everyone understands the situation and the solution, enough of the current Congress will agree to fix the nation.
- Otherwise, we’ll sweep the midterms (assuming they happen), take the House, likely the Senate too, and big changes will happen.
