This tool is supposed to have a function allows you to keep track of which messages you’ve sent to all of your congress members. I hope that I’ll be able to get that working soon.

ChatGPT wrote the code for the tool and suggested that I add functionality to allow other elected officials to get messages. I agreed that it would be a nice idea and we worked on implementing it. In the process, the code crashed, so I asked to leave that feature out. Then the process got really difficult.

Frustrated, I asked Grok, (Elon Musk’s AI) for help. It got ithe tool working immediately, but left off steps four and five and gave a notice that the Trump message was “outdated|”. I asked it to put the steps back on and it complied. Then I noticed that the message monitoring feature was gone. I asked Grok to restore the feature, but the code it built left out most of the explanatory text and left out the Trump message entirely, Unusable.

At least Grok’s second version mostly works.
